Introduction
Demyan the Occultist is an important NPC found in Kyovashad that allows players to imprint and extract Legendary Aspects, enchant items to change affixes, and craft or salvage sigils. Imprinting Aspects allows players to have flexibility when customizing their skill build, Legendary Aspects can be obtained by filling up your Codex of Power by completing Dungeons or random drops from events and enemies.
Imprint Aspect
Aspects can be imprinted onto a Legendary or Rare item, from an extracted Legendary Aspect or from Aspects unlocked in the Codex of Power. If a Rare item is Imprinted, it will be converted into a Legendary item and be marked as an Imprinted item (Imprinted items cannot be traded or extracted).
Notes:
- When an Aspect is imprinted from the Occultist via Codex of Power, it will always roll the lowest value.
- Imprints provide bonuses when applied to specific items such as 2 Handed Weapons and Amulet
Aspects are classified into 5 unique categories, which can only be applied into specific item slots.
List of Categories:
- Defensive: Shield, Helm, Chest, Pants, Amulet
- Offensive: Amulet, Weapon, Gloves, Ring
- Resource: Ring
- Utility: Shield, Helm, Chest, Amulet, Gloves, Boots

When imprinting a Legendary or Rare item the player must provide the materials needed to proceed with the imprint such as Veiled Crystals and Gold. The amount of Veiled Crystals and Gold vary depending on the item.
Extract Aspect
When coming across a Legendary Aspect on an item you don’t need or wish to store, players may extract the Aspect from the item at the Occultist. It is important to note that Extracting an Aspect will cost a high amount of gold and will destroy the extracted item. Extracted Aspects will show you the items that it can be imprinted on, as well as bonuses received when it is imprinted onto a specific item.
After an Aspect is extracted it will be stored in a separate inventory tab shown in the image below.

Salvage Sigils
Currently as of the Early Access Beta test Salvaging Sigils is not available due to world level 2 being the current cap/limit.
Enchant Item
Enchanting an item allows players to reroll affixes to better suit their playstyle or optimize their build. It is important to note that once a stat has been selected and rerolled, the item will be bound and thus be untradeable. Each item can only reroll one selected stat so it is advisable to reroll a gear with either an ideal affix of 2/3 for Rare and 3/4 for Legendary to maximize the chance for a perfect affix lines.
Materials required to enchant items are Gold, Veiled Crystals and Fiend Rose (for Legendary items).
After enchanting an item you are given a selection of 2 new affixes and an option to keep the old affix.
