What are Altars of Lilith?
Altars of Lilith are the statues that are scattered all across the vast world of Sanctuary. By interacting with them, players can unlock bonuses for their character, as well as for their account as a whole.
The character that finds the Altar receives experience and 10 Renown points towards the current region progress. Additionally, whenever you find a particular Altar for the first time on an account, all of your characters get a permanent reward.
These Altar rewards are fixed and could grant +2 to one of the core stats (Strength, Intelligence, Willpower or Dexterity). Alternatively, other Altars can give you a Paragon point, or increase your maximum capacity of Murmuring Obols.
Every map zone has a specific number of Altars. You will find 28 Altars of Lilith in the Fractured Peaks Region. This is the starting zone of the game that players will explore during Act 1.
Make sure to complete the Prologue and unlock the main city of Kyovashad! All the altars besides the very first one appear only after you've finished the introduction.
Altars of Lilith Map: Fractured Peaks
Desolate Highlands: 4 Altars
Reward: Dexterity +2.
You will encounter your first Altar of Lilith after leaving the village of Nevesk at the very start of your journey. Right after exiting the gate, just travel along the main path.
Reward: Strength +2.
After you have finished the Prologue, return to the village of Nevesk. Along the main path, there'll now appear an Altar on the south side of a grove.
Reward: Dexterity +2.
On the main path leading north towards Kyovashad from the Hermit's shack, climb up the cliff to find the small abandoned camp and an Altar.
Reward: Intelligence +2.
This Altar of Lilith is to the west from the Kyovashad Gatehouse entrance. On the right of the large open area there will be a small alcove with the statue.
The Pallid Glade: 3 Altars
Reward: Murmuring Obols Cap +5.
Northwest of the road from Nevesk, to the east of the lower path to the Dry Steppes. Look along the dirt path for a grove of trees.
Reward: Dexterity +2.
This Altar is hiding along the southern edge of the map of the Brinewood. Look along the lower eastern tip of the Sallow Shores.
Reward: Willpower +2.
This Altar of Lilith is inside a home up on top of Melnik's Hill. Go south of the main path leading east to Sarkova Pass into a narrow passage leading to the the home.
Sarkova Pass: 4 Altars
Reward: Willpower +2.
This Altar of Lilith is on the left road that connects Kyovashad to Menestad. Look for a narrow passage along the main path into a small alcove.
Reward: Murmuring Obols Cap +5.
This Altar of Lilith is just below the Silvered Edgelands subregion that leads to Scosglen. Look northwest of Menestad, opposite a peak with a bone altar.
Reward: Strength +2.
This Altar of Lilith is to the west of the Forbidden City dungeon, directly north of the town of Menestad. Look along the edge of a large alcove near the dungeon entrance.
Reward: Intelligence +2.
This Altar of Lilith is in a narrow path on the eastern edges of the Sarkova Pass region. Look for it on the path that's right above the Forsaken Quarry dungeon.
Dobrev Tayga: 3 Altars
Reward: Murmuring Obols Cap +5.
After exiting Kyovashad to the south, jump across the gap to the west to a narrow path that borders the Radiance Field Cemetery.
Reward: Willpower +2.
This Altar of Lilith is on a small path south of Margrave, located in an alcove to the south of the open area.
Reward: Strength +2.
After exiting to the east of Margrave and the Maulwood Dungeon, go north through the Western Tunnels and climb towards the exit to the Krol Forest.
Frigid Expanse: 5 Altars
Reward: Intelligence +2.
East of the Kyovashad Cathedral of Light, head north and look for an alcovebelow a cliff you can climb.
Reward: Strength +2.
Go through eastern Kyovashad gate, between the Immortal Emmanation and Black Asylum Dungeons. Look north of a frozen Lake for a small path to a plateau.
Reward: Dexterity +2.
This Altar of Lilith is to the north-east of the Forsaken Quarry Dungeon, on a small lower alcove below the path leading into the hot springs geysers.
Reward: Willpower +2.
To the east of the Immortal Emanation Dungeon, look along the south edge of the icy river for a small overlook.
Reward: Murmuring Obols Cap +5.
This Altar of Lilith is to the southeast of the Malnok Stronghold just before a crossroads leading to Gale Valley.
Gale Valley: 3 Altars
Reward: Dexterity +2.
Hop across a broken bridge or climb down from the Frigid Expanse - the Altar of Lilith is just before the intact bridge.
Reward: Intelligence +2.
This Altar is in a small area southeast of Yelesna where the river leads to a waterfall.
Reward: Willpower +2.
Northwest of the Dead Man's Dredge Dungeon, the Altar of Lilith is hidden among the reeds and crumbled shacks.
Seat of Heavens: 3 Altars
Reward: Dexterity +2.
North of the Hoarfrost Dungeon, this Altar of Lilith hides just above the main path along the cliff edges to the west of Kor Valar.
Reward: Intelligence +2.
Near the the College of Light event area, check the easternmost right side of the largest chasm.
Reward: Strength +2.
On the far right of this sub-region, you can find the Altar of Lilith south of the College of Light, and due west of the Alabaster Monastery across the ridge.
Fractured Peaks Strongholds: 3 Altars
Reward: Intelligence +2.
During the Stronghold event at Nostrava Stronghold invesitage the Demonic Effigy in the large tavern in the top right of the town and duck under the broken wall.
Reward: Willpower +2.
During the Kor Dragan Stronghold event search the south ramparts below the square with the vampiric corruption and move all the way right to the middle entrance to the keep.
Reward: Strength +2.
During the event at Malnok Stronghold head to the lower edge of the area to find a frozen over building with ice blocking the door. Destroy the weak ice and head inside.
